1000 hryvnias for everyone: Zelensky announced a new program to support Ukrainians

President Vladimir Zelensky said that a new program to support Ukrainians will be introduced in Ukraine from December 1.

There is a lot of work in the energy sector – this is the protection of facilities, this is work on the stability of the system. Regions are preparing, communities are preparing, the military is preparing. In addition to such systemic things, there are decisions that can be made directly to support people,» he noted.

The Ukrainian president instructed the government to introduce a new program from December 1 that will be tangible for every family in Ukraine.

«There is support for all our people – adults, children, every family in Ukraine. A thousand hryvnia per person – this will be several thousand hryvnia per family, and the funds can be spent on paying for Ukrainian goods and services, in particular utilities, electricity. Tickets – this is “Ukrzaliznytsia”. Ukrainian medicines”, the president explained.

Zelensky also instructed that these funds can be spent on Ukrainian books, on cultural services, donated to the military – volunteers, for drones.

«The Cabinet of Ministers should determine all the details and present all this to the people. I expect this in the near future. On December 1, the money should be in the hands of the people,— Volodymyr Zelensky summed up.
