Reservation from mobilization in Ukraine have resumed.

It is noted that this should ensure the stable operation of strategically important sectors of the economy. However, there are certain conditions under which not everyone will be able to extend the deferment.
«Employees who received the status of reserved before May 31, 2024, will be able to freely extend the reservation period for a similar period. Such a protocol decision, at the suggestion of the First Deputy Minister of Defense, was agreed upon at a government meeting on October 25,— the report says.
According to officials, this will ensure the stable operation of strategically important sectors of the economy, including those that work for defense. At the same time, the audit of decisions on assigning the status of critically important enterprises, which were made over the past four months, will last until November 15.
The Cabinet of Ministers explained the reason for the audit – an abnormal increase in the number of critically important enterprises and the number of reserved employees. This is done in the interests of strengthening the state's defense capability and preventing abuse.
«Based on the audit results, the responsible ministries will determine whether there were any unfair actions and whether they are potentially corrupt in nature. Based on this data, the government will update the reservation criteria and adjust them so that the mechanism works in favor of our security and defense, and in favor of our economy», — explained in the “Government Portal”.
