Head of the Department for Restoration and Development of Energy Infrastructure of DTEK Alexey Povolotsky noted that the heating season in Ukraine has begun in some regions, so far without planned power outages.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Novyny.

According to him, the further situation with power outages will depend on whether there will be new shelling. At the same time, the most difficult situation will be in the frontline regions.

“I would not single out regions now. Of course, the frontline zones will be in a more difficult situation, but I would not single out others,” he said, answering the question of which regions will have the most difficult situation.

As the DTEK representative noted, Ukraine is entering the winter with good potential, the question is whether there will be new shelling.

“It is difficult to recover when there is not enough equipment and people who can do it quickly. You also need to have equipment in reserve. If you have a reserve, then you can quickly replace it and put the station into operation. If there is no equipment, it is more difficult to do and the issue of equipment production takes a lot of time. Large transformers are produced in at least 6-9 months, and sometimes we simply do not have this time,” — noted Alexey Povolotsky.

Recall that it was previously reported that 1,000 hryvnia each: Zelensky announced a new program to support Ukrainians.
