Co-founder of the Ukrainian Center for Security and Cooperation Dmitry Zhmailo believes that the massive missile attacks on Ukraine, which have already become commonplace for many regions, were just preparation.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Espreso.
According to Zhmailo, the strikes we are seeing now are nothing more than a dress rehearsal before larger-scale shelling. He noted that Russia is studying our air defense systems, observing how and where they work, and using various maneuvers to make it as difficult as possible to protect the skies.
According to the expert, the “best” is yet to come for us — it is with the start of the heating season that a much more powerful wave of attacks could hit the Ukrainian skies.
“The use of Gerbera drones looks especially creative — cheap ones made of plywood and plastic. These drones, equipped with lenses that scatter the signal, confuse the air defense system, appearing on radars as “shaheeds.” Thus, the aggressor not only tests our capabilities, but also tries to exhaust the resources needed to counteract. The Russian Federation spends up to fifty “shaheeds” daily, and apparently this figure will only grow,” — said Zhmailo.
He noted that the enemy's goal is obvious: disorientation of the Ukrainian defense, continuous attacks that should make air raid sirens a familiar part of the winter life of Ukrainians. Zhmailo warned that Ukraine is facing another critical winter, but this time with a new level of terrorist aggression.
Recall that it was previously reported what Putin's “victory theory” is based on: ISW revealed the dictator's plans.
