Every Ukrainian will be able to receive from the state payment of one thousand hryvnia.

URA-Inform reports this with reference to lb.ua.

Economy Minister Oleksiy Sobolev reported that it will be credited to a virtual card.

“This is one thousand hryvnia per person, regardless of age and social status. It can be used during December-January-February. Payments will be sent to the National Cashback card. This is a virtual card that can be opened through Diyu,” Sobolev explained.

The official noted that such payments will have a positive impact on the development of micro and medium businesses, since the number of services that funds can be spent on will be limited.

“This money is marked – that is, there is a certain circle where it can be spent. But it will also be possible to donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” – noted the First Deputy Minister.

Sobolev also noted that no new funds will be allocated from the budget for payments to Ukrainians. In particular, the state will use funds that were previously allocated for various support programs.

“These are not new funds. These are funds from existing programs that we will redirect. These are funds that we do not have time to spend this year. In addition, we would definitely not be able to direct these funds to the army, because these funds were allocated by donors to our budget, and there is a condition – they cannot be directed to military expenses,” – said the Deputy Minister of Economy.

Recall that it was previously reported that 1,000 hryvnia each: Zelensky announced a new program to support Ukrainians.
