President Vladimir Zelensky allowed for the possibility of holding negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Timesofindia.

Zelensky is convinced that the head of the Indian government Narendra Modi is capable of helping to complete war in Ukraine. He noted that his state is capable of putting pressure on the Russian Federation by blocking the economy of the aggressor country.

“Prime Minister Modi can influence the end of the war in Ukraine. This is his great value in any conflict. This is India's great value,” the Ukrainian president said.

When asked about the possibility of Prime Minister Modi holding talks between Ukraine and Russia, Zelensky gave his strongest signal yet:

“Of course, it can be in India, and Prime Minister Modi can really do it… but I think we need to prepare… and only in accordance with our format, because the war is on our soil… we have a platform, which is the peace summit.”

In response to Modi's statement that he is ready to work to establish peace in Ukraine, Zelensky called for action, not just words.

“Modi is the prime minister of a really huge country… Such a country cannot simply say that we are interested in ending the war… Prime Minister Modi can influence the end of the war… blocking the Russian economy, blocking cheap energy resources, blocking the Russian military-industrial complex will lead to a reduction in Moscow's ability to wage wars against us.”

Yermak also stated the possibility of considering an alternative peace plan between China and Brazil.
