In Poland, in Warsaw, an installation appeared that caused indignation among citizens.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Glavcom.
In particular, in the center of Warsaw, stands with figures of Ukrainian soldiers were installed, where the places for faces were cut out so that passers-by could insert their faces and take a photo. The stands indicated the dates of birth and death of Ukrainian soldiers and the inscription “Become a hero”.
Photos and videos of this installation are quickly spread on social networks and caused a negative reaction among both Ukrainians and Poles.
The author of this project later publicly apologized for the unsuccessful idea and explained that he did not intend to offend the Ukrainian community. According to him, the goal was to support Ukraine, but he admitted that he had chosen an unsuccessful way to implement it.
Amid a wave of criticism from outraged people, the installation was quickly dismantled.
It also became known earlier that the ranking of the strongest armies in the world was published: what place does Ukraine occupy?
