Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved key changes aimed at strengthening military records and monitoring compliance with defense legislation.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, emphasizing the importance of digitalization for a fair and effective process of staffing the Ukrainian army.
Digitalization to increase transparency and efficiency
“Ukraine continues to implement digital technologies in the defense sector, making the conscription process more fair and transparent. The new changes by the Cabinet of Ministers allow for operational control over the fulfillment of citizens' duties to the Motherland,” Umerov noted.
In accordance with the measures taken, data between territorial recruitment centers, the Security Service of Ukraine, intelligence agencies and the National Police will be integrated into a single electronic system. This approach will allow for real-time exchange of information and immediate response to cases of violation of the law.
Legal coordination and rapid action
“Now law enforcement agencies will be able to promptly receive data on violators and quickly deliver them to the appropriate authorities for further investigation or execution of duties. This decision is aimed at restoring justice: conscientious citizens should not suffer from the evasion of others,” the Minister of Defense emphasized.
The introduction of a digital platform allows not only to improve the management of recruitment processes, but also to minimize the risks of corruption and errors. The system eliminates the possibility of data manipulation, ensuring honest and objective accounting of all citizens.
Strengthening defense capability through a technological approach
The new rules are aimed not only at improving document flow and transparency of processes, but also at strengthening the country's defense capability.
“These measures make the Ukrainian army stronger, increasing the efficiency of recruitment and organization. Electronic accounting ensures control at every stage, helping to better manage resources and ensure timely replenishment of the ranks of the Defense Forces,” Umerov added.
In addition, information has emerged about why the Ukrainian state is hitting Russian distilleries.
