In the village area Levadnoe, Zaporizhia region, a tense stabilization operation aimed at restoring the defensive positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues.

It is noted that the enemy is trying to gain a foothold in the breakthrough area, seeking to capture key territories, but Ukrainian defenders are taking decisive action to prevent further advancement of the enemy.
This information was confirmed on air by Vladislav Voloshin, spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, on the national telethon. He emphasized that several days earlier, Russian occupation forces had achieved a local success, breaking through the defenses of Ukrainian units in the Levadnoye area. However, the current operation is aimed at leveling the positions and restoring control over the area.
“The Ukrainian Defense Forces are carrying out stabilization actions to level the front and eliminate any risks in this direction,” Voloshin noted.
The village of Levadnoe occupies a strategically important position. It is located on the way to the village of Velyka Novosilka, which plays the role of a critically important hub in the south of the Donetsk region. In addition, the area borders the Dnipropetrovsk region, which increases its importance in the operational plans of both Ukraine and the enemy.
Vladislav Voloshin clarified that Ukrainian forces are focused on preventing any advance of the enemy in the direction of Velyka Novosilka.
«We clearly understand that beyond this border lies not only a strategic threat, but also the possibility of further invasion deep into the region. The Ukrainian Defense Forces do not give the enemy the slightest chance of success,» the speaker emphasized.
