The survey was conducted by a sociological group “Rating” in September of this year. 2,000 Ukrainian citizens aged 18 and over took part in the survey.

According to the survey, almost half of Ukrainians, namely 47%, use the Telegram messenger as their main source of information.
Thus, among the sources of information used by citizens are YouTube & #8212; 26% of respondents watch it. At the same time, 21% of respondents watch the “Unified News Marathon”. 19% of citizens get information from eyewitnesses and acquaintances. The same number of respondents use official sources of information.
Television channels that are not part of the “Unified News Marathon” are used to obtain information by 16% of citizens, and Ukrainian online media are read by 15% of respondents. In particular, 14% of people use international media to obtain information.
At the same time, citizens named social networks as the main source of disinformation. This opinion was expressed by 53% of respondents. Also, 89% of respondents consider disinformation to be a serious problem, of which 56% consider its very serious, and 33% – rather serious. Only 10% of the citizens surveyed called disinformation and fake news not a serious problem.
