The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced the repeal of his order to the Akhmat fighters prohibiting them from taking Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen prisoner.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to ISW.

According to analysts from the American Institute for the Study of War, the head of Chechnya stated that the Ukrainians themselves allegedly asked him to do this.

“On November 2, Kadyrov said that he had cancelled the order in response to requests from Ukrainian citizens and used his statements to advance Russian information operations that undermine Ukraine's sovereignty,” the statement reads.

It is worth noting that in his Telegram channel, the head of Chechnya said that he had allegedly received more than two thousand letters from Ukrainian residents.

«The letters of varying content are written by women whose relatives have been mobilized, as well as by men who are on the contact line against their will. However, the explanation for the request in each statement is the same: surrender to Russian fighters – this is the only way to stay alive for those who are sent to the trenches against their will… The “take no prisoners” order has been cancelled. Those who want to surrender to Russian troops will live. I don't envy the rest,” Kadyrov declared.

Recall that earlier it was reported that the European Commission strongly recommends that EU citizens prepare for an emergency: what is known.
