Poland opposes arms transfer to Ukraine: who made the official statement

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Polish Defense Minister Vladislav Kosiniak-Kamysh confirmed his position against the transfer of MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine, arguing that it is necessary to ensure his own security.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the Polish Radio Zet.

On air at the radio station, Kosiniak-Kamysh noted that Polish MiG-29s play an important role in patrolling the country's airspace and are a key component in protecting national sovereignty.

According to him, Poland provides Ukraine with significant humanitarian and military support, and President Zelensky's statement about the need for additional arms supplies should be taken with understanding.

However, Polish officials are currently silent on the above. It is only known that the Polish authorities are increasingly less willing to help Ukrainian refugees and, moreover, sometimes talk about sending adult men from the Ukrainian state back to their homeland.

Meanwhile, the media has already begun to talk about the fact that Ukrainians may be forced to buy war bonds.
