Heavy snowfalls are approaching Ukraine: when to expect the first snowstorms

Forecasters said that dry and relatively warm weather will continue in Ukraine until the end of this week.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to data from the Ventusky weather radar.

However, starting in the middle of next week expect a sharp cold snap and snowfalls. According to their forecast, the country will start to experience a cold snap on November 15, and an atmospheric front from the southwest will bring snow to Bukovina and the Carpathian region.

And by the end of the day, snowfalls will cover the western, northern and central regions of Ukraine. Temperatures on Friday, November 15, will range from 0 to +2°C, with frosts down to -4°C possible in the Carpathians.

On Saturday, November 16, bad weather will hit the eastern, southern, central and part of the northern regions. In some places, snowfalls will be heavy.

During the day, the temperature will not exceed +2°C, and on the night of November 17, the thermometer will drop to -1-5°C, in the Carpathians – to -7° C. Snowfalls will continue only in Donetsk region on November 17, after which the snow front will leave the territory of Ukraine.
