In organizing an illegal scheme suspected of a former law enforcement officer who works as an assistant to one of the judges.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the State Bureau of Investigation.

Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation exposed a scheme in one of the Donetsk courts evading mobilization through a fictitious divorce and establishing guardianship over children.

The law enforcement agency's press service reported that for three thousand dollars he ensured the adoption of court decisions on the divorce of a “client” and the deprivation of his wife's parental rights. Thus, the fact of the independent upbringing and maintenance of a child under the age of 18 by the father was established.

«At the same time, the men did not even write statements of claim for these cases and did not participate in court hearings. They received ready-made decisions from a court employee after paying for the services,” the State Bureau of Investigation added.

It is worth noting that the relevant court decisions not only groundlessly granted a deferment from military service upon mobilization to men who did not have such a right, but also provided the opportunity to travel abroad without hindrance.

It is noted that on November 12, 2024, the judge's assistant was notified of suspicion of illegally transporting persons across the state border of Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). For this crime, the judge's assistant faces a sentence of up to nine years in prison with confiscation of property.

“In addition, investigators are checking the involvement of employees of the above-mentioned judicial institution, including judges and court management, in the commission of illegal actions,” — noted in the Bureau.

It also became known that for “ignoring” a summons the fine amount can double: the TCC said who will have to pay more.
