As is known, in the last few days, the newly elected US President Donald Trump has announced most of the candidates for his administration. Some of them criticized aid to Ukraine, and some even spread Russian propaganda narratives.

This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to “RBK”.

Adviser to the head of the President's Office Mykhailo Podolyak emphasized that Donald Trump is forming his new government team. At the same time, he is proceeding from American interests and Ukraine will have to work with the new administration.

“Trump is forming a team for Americans from Americans, so he is guided by the interests of his country,” he emphasized.

According to him, it is necessary to remember that statements made in the political process and statements made in a particular position are two different things. At the same time, Trump himself remains the key subject.

Podolyak noted that Ukraine needs to persistently continue contact with those people in the new Trump administration who “look differently” at certain problems.

“Our task is to clearly explain our subjectivity.” Is it difficult? Yes. Will there be any resistance? Perhaps. Or there may be support if we place the right emphasis,” — suggested the adviser to the head of the President's Office.

In turn, Trump gave a new signal to Zelensky: an insider revealed what conversation took place.
