What will happen if the US cuts aid: Zelensky stuns with statement

During an interview with Fox News journalist asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to clarify his recent statements about the possibility of negotiations.

URA-Inform reports this with reference to Fox News.

“We are an independent country. And during this war, we – both our people and I personally in negotiations with the United States, and with Trump, and with Biden, and with European leaders – have proven that the rhetoric of “Sit down and listen” does not work with us,” the Ukrainian president said then.

Recalling this context, a Fox News journalist asked Zelensky what would happen if the US government cut military aid to Ukraine. To this, the head of the Ukrainian state said that in that case, Ukraine would probably lose.

«If they cut it, I think we will lose. Of course, in any case, we will stay and fight. We have our own production, but it is not enough to win. And I think that this is not enough to survive», — the president emphasized.

Zelensky noted that although the first days of the full-scale invasion were the most difficult, the situation now will depend on the unity of the world against Russia.

“I believe that then was the most difficult period, but now this period, this moment, I believe, depends on our unity in Ukraine, and it is very dangerous if we lose unity in Europe, and most importantly – this is the unity between Ukraine and the United States,” he emphasized.

Meanwhile, Razumkov said that something is wrong with the state budget of Ukraine for 2025: an unexpected admission was made.
