In particular, the bill provides for the following for military personnel:
During martial law, military personnel who left military units or places of service for the first time without permission or deserted and voluntarily arrived at the place of service and expressed their readiness to continue military service, military service and the contract shall continue.
Payments of cash and food, clothing, other types of support, benefits and social guarantees are being resumed.
Criminal proceedings initiated on criminal offenses provided for in Articles 407 and 408 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, in relation to military personnel who for the first time voluntarily left military units or places of service or deserted and voluntarily arrived and expressed their readiness to continue military service, is not a basis for refusing to continue military service of such servicemen and the actions of their contract.
