Mobilization in Ukraine faces everything more serious problems, and the situation at the front only exacerbates this need.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to The Economist.

The article emphasizes that by the spring of next year the situation with replenishment of military reserves may become “irreparable”. The acute shortage of personnel forces the Armed Forces of Ukraine to mobilize people without sufficient physical training and motivation.

The problem is not only in the number, but also in the quality of recruits , which is raising concerns among commanders and experts.

One striking example is the story of a 51-year-old man with severe vision problems who was mobilized despite restrictions. This raises concerns about the selection criteria used in during mobilization.

The lack of volunteers and the limited effectiveness of the mobilization campaign mean that many recruits are not physically and mentally prepared for combat conditions. To remedy the situation, the state should review its recruitment policy, focusing on improving the conditions for attracting young citizens, as well as conducting regular training and motivational programs.

That is why, as experts say, without decisive steps, Ukraine may face a a critical shortage of personnel, which will lead to complications at the front.

Against this background, it became known whether mass events will be held in Kyiv for the New Year holidays.
