Senior Sergeant The Armed Forces of Ukraine, Sergei Sokolov, proposed a radical measure to strengthen the mobilization policy in Ukraine: granting employees of territorial recruitment centers the right to use firearms.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Politika Strany.
Sokolov argues that TCC employees are currently in a vulnerable position, facing aggression from draft dodgers. He believes that allowing the use of force will make the mobilization process more effective.
“They are often attacked. In reality, they are in a defenseless format. They should be given the right to use physical measures against draft dodgers “They must be given the right to open fire on them,” – said Sokolov.
The proposal has sparked heated debate. Supporters of the initiative point to the need to strengthen discipline, while as critics warn of the risks of abuse. Lawyers remind that any use of force must be regulated by law, and such initiatives require careful assessment from a human rights perspective.
However, radical ideas are not only heard in Ukraine: Trump's adviser made a loud declaration of war in Ukraine.
