People's Deputy of Ukraine Alexey Goncharenko expressed the opinion that currently there is a struggle to strengthen positions before possible negotiations.
This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to Espreso.tv.
“Ukraine is moving towards negotiations with Putin, whether we like it or not – it doesn't matter anymore. Zelensky has shown readiness for these negotiations, Trump said that they will take place. Putin, according to my information, what Reuters published about Russia's conditions – this is not fiction, this is really what Russia conveyed to the US, Europe, Ukraine. That is, Putin, he also gave signals there that they are ready for talks, so the negotiations will take place. Indeed, as Zelensky said, I think that these negotiations will take place in January,” he believes.
At the same time, Goncharenko emphasized that Russia will strive to strengthen its position as much as possible before the start of discussions.
“And that is precisely why what is happening today and we, those of you who live in Ukraine, need to buckle up, because there are very difficult months and a half, two months ahead. When Russia will do everything it can to take the strongest possible position at this negotiating table. And this Oreshnik, and their simply colossal human resources, which they are throwing at ousting Ukraine from Kursk region. And what is happening in Donbass, all this is evidence that Russia is very actively preparing for these negotiations, but really wants to enter them from a position of strength. Ukraine too, and here we have some help from our partners, the ability to attack military facilities deep in the territory of the Russian Federation,” — the MP noted.
At the same time, Zelensky made a new decision on strikes deep into the Russian Federation: an insider revealed what they had planned.
