In Ukraine they plan to launch “The Multi-Apartment Building Management System” (MABS), which is designed to simplify access to housing data and reduce corruption in this area.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development.

The press service of the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development, which referred to the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, reported that a pilot project is currently being prepared, and the system will be implemented in the next two years.

The new system will perform the following tasks:

— introduction of a unified digitalized approach to the management of apartment buildings;

— expanding access to information on the technical condition of the property of co-owners of apartment buildings;

— using tools to collect data necessary for decision-making in housing policy — both within communities and at the state level.

The department expects that the SUMD “will minimize the negative impact of the human factor in the overwhelming majority of apartment building management processes.” In particular, this will affect the holding of meetings of co-owners of housing and the publication of minutes of such meetings.

“Due to the digitalization of processes, the corruption component is excluded. And at the state level, the introduction and development of the apartment building management system is an important component of the housing policy reform,” — the ministry said.

It also became known that Ukraine plans to reform high school: there will be fewer compulsory subjects.
