Ukraine's Most Dangerous Moment in War: Kuleba Admits One of His Biggest Fears

Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba expressed concerns that the election of Donald Trump as US President could lead to the cessation of arms and ammunition supplies to Ukraine.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Рolitico.

According to him, such a “hunger diet” could be used as a way to pressure Kyiv to make it more accommodating if Trump's proposed peace plan fails. Kuleba stressed that the consequences of such a step would be extremely grave.

«The front line in Donbas will collapse, and the Russians will find themselves at the gates of the Dnieper, Poltava and Zaporozhye. This will be the most dangerous moment for Ukraine in this war,» he said.

The former minister also noted that, despite the possible escalation of the conflict, the parties are trying to avoid uncontrolled escalation. All actions and signals are carefully calculated to reduce the likelihood of catastrophic mistakes.

However, the Ukrainian armed forces are limited in the use of long-range missiles, while Russia informs the United States in advance about the launch of intercontinental ballistic missiles, demonstrating its intentions.

Kuleba believes that in the event of a reduction or termination of American aid, Europe will play a key role. It remains unclear whether the European Union will be able to compensate for the loss of American support and provide the necessary assistance to Ukraine.

At the same time, Ukraine may be brought to the negotiating table: sources in the US said when this will happen.
