It is reported that these measures are being introduced in connection with the worsening situation at the front.

URA-Inform reports this with reference to Vadim Lyakh.

The authorities of the city of Slavyansk in Donetsk Oblast have decided to close schools and cancel public events. The corresponding order was published by the head of the city military administration, Vadim Lyakh.

The order notes that the events are being held in connection with the aggravation of the security situation, with the aim of organizing measures to preserve the life and health of the civilian population, as well as to prevent the occurrence of emergency situations on the territory of the Slavyansk urban territorial community.

Vadim Lyakh decided in Slavyansk to “prohibit the implementation of educational activities and activities that have educational characteristics in the territory of the Slavyansk urban territorial community in an offline format (direct presence of participants).

As well as activities in the field of culture, youth policy, physical education and sports, by entities implementing them of any form of ownership and with the participation of minors and/or underage persons.”

The official noted that “the exception is the above-mentioned activity, which provides for the participation in the event of, in general, no more than two people.”

“I reserve the coordination of the implementation of this order for myself,” — says Vadim Lyakh's order.

Recall that it was previously reported that not only Pokrovsk: five more cities were named that the Russian Federation is seeking to seize first.
