Russia throws hysteria over Erdogan: threatens Turkey with a “worthy response”

In Russia hysteria has erupted over the support that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is providing to rebel forces in Syria.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Donpress.

Russian propagandists complain that after the events in Syria, occupied Crimea could become Turkey's next target. At the same time, the Kremlin threatens Ankara with a “worthy response” for such actions.

Russian sources claim that Turkey allegedly “betrayed” Moscow, citing the events in Aleppo. Now Russia fears that Erdogan is capable of even more radical steps, such as helping Ukraine in the issue of de-occupying Crimea.

«There is reason to believe that serious problems will be organized in Crimea. Help to the enemy could be the targeting of missiles and drones on important objects on the peninsula, intelligence information and even, possibly, some actions related to weapons. Although there is no confirmation of information about weapons yet», the propagandists said.

The Russian Foreign Ministry, according to propaganda mouthpieces, is expressing alarm about Turkey's actions. Statements by Kremlin officials include accusations that Erdogan wants to establish control over Crimea and is allegedly sending signals that life on the peninsula will be «very difficult».

«This is essentially blackmail, I hope we will find a worthy response to it. Therefore, the current threats should be taken seriously. Both the military and politicians need to solve something with the Turkish problem, and all the residents of Crimea and Sevastopol, the propagandists said.

In turn, Zelensky gave NATO an ultimatum: the president said in what form Ukraine should join the Alliance.
