Situation for Russians in Syria is getting worse.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that forces opposed to the Assad regime supported by Russia are actively advancing to the south of the country, and the first urban battles have occurred in the cities of Hama, Homs, and Suwayda.

“The military contingent of the aggressor state Russia has fled Hama and evacuated to the Khmeimim base. The head of the Russian coordination headquarters located in Khmeimim, Colonel General Alexander Zhuravlev, stated that the situation has gotten out of the control of the Assad regime,” the report says.

Ukrainian intelligence officers also added that the first armed unrest has begun in Damascus – Russian military personnel and diplomats have urgently begun to leave the capital of Syria. The Russians also fled from the military base in the city of Khan Sheikhoun, leaving behind a significant arsenal of weapons and equipment.

“On the first day of December, Russian aircraft carried out airstrikes in the Khan Sheikhoun area – the purpose of the attack was probably to destroy Russian military equipment that had fallen into the hands of opposition forces,” the GUR stated.

The intelligence service noted that against the backdrop of the panicked flight of Russian troops, news of the resignation of the commander of the Russian contingent, General Kisel, was actively spread in Arabic-language public groups.

“Colonel Vadim Baykulov, who commanded a unit of Russian special forces, was also recalled to Moscow “on the carpet” – he must explain to the leaders why the personnel subordinate to him suffered casualties and military equipment in Aleppo was captured,” the Main Intelligence Directorate concluded.

The Russian Federation is also in hysterics over Erdogan: they are threatening Turkey with a “worthy response.”
