Former commander US Army in Europe Ben Hodges singled out a key moment that could become a turning point in the war in Ukraine. In his opinion, no single weapon plays a decisive role in achieving victory.
This was reported by URA-Inform citing Rbc.
Hodgkins said that the declaration of victory of Ukraine as a strategic goal of the United States will be a turning point in the war against the Russian Federation. That is why no single weapons system is a decisive factor in the confrontation.
“The only turning point will be a declaration of Ukraine's victory as America's strategic goal,” — ; Hodges said in a statement.
As the former commander noted, no one weapon system, no one platform, and no one policy is the deciding factor.
“However, Ukraine's approval of its use of ATACMS, Storm Shadow and SCALP against targets inside Russia is an important step forward that gives Ukraine significantly greater capabilities to destroy the headquarters, logistics and artillery of the Russian army, which will weaken its quantitative advantage,” added Ben Hodges.
