The West is allegedly preparing to send the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky to London.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to El Mundo.
It is reported that this will happen after a peaceful settlement is achieved in the Russian-Ukrainian war . El Mundo, citing diplomatic circles in Kyiv, claims that there are “rumors” among diplomats in the Ukrainian capital about sending Zelensky to London. There, they called it a “golden exile.”
Meanwhile, presidential elections are due to take place in Ukraine, which were postponed due to the war. Recently, the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, stated that Ukraine is ready to hold elections immediately after the establishment of a fair peace.
According to El Mundo, all this would be accompanied by Ukraine's “quick” accession to the EU, the restoration and deployment of peacekeepers from the UK and France.
They will allegedly be located on the line of contact after a truce and ceasefire are reached in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
At the same time, the Russian Federation began talking about ending the war in Ukraine: Lavrov named a number of conditions.
