In the Russian Federation they want to take revenge on Liya Akhedzhakova for her pro-Ukrainian position: what step did they take

Russian actress Liya Akhedzhakova, known for her work in theater and cinema, has found herself at the center of a scandal in Russia due to her open support for Ukraine.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Unian.

The reason for the indignation was her performance in Los Angeles, where she uttered the words “Glory to Ukraine!” from the stage. This caused a storm of indignation among Russian propagandists.

According to local media, TV presenter and representative of the Federal Security Project Elena Krait proposed that the Ministry of Culture remove Akhedzhakova from the cult film “The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!”. It is planned to use modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, to replace the actress with Elizaveta Boyarskaya, who supports the Kremlin's policies.

“Since Tanya's role cannot be removed from the film, it was proposed to replace her face with Liza Boyarskaya using a neural network,” the Russian media outlet said in a statement.

Such actions have become part of a general campaign against Akhedzhakova. Earlier, the Russians had already stripped her of state awards and considered including her in the register of “foreign agents”. However, she has not yet been officially assigned the status of “agent”. Nevertheless, the initiatives to “cut” the actress out of Soviet classics point to the absurd level of censorship and pressure that cultural figures who condemn the war are subjected to.

Recall that earlier it was reported that Vinnik announced his return to the stage: how the Ukrainians reacted.
