They were presented for the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to the NBU.

The National Bank created new commemorative coins “Neither a bullet nor a saber!” #187;, inspired by the legends of the heroic warriors of the Zaporizhian Sich – the Cossacks-characterniks, as a talisman for military personnel.

The obverse depicts a stylized figure carefully holding in his hands and protecting a baby State Emblem of Ukraine – a symbol of freedom and independence .

The composition symbolizes the original desire of the Ukrainian people to live in their own sovereign state. On a matte background are enemy balls, reflected from the soldier, without striking the “Ukrainian soul.”

On the reverse is a stylized image of a Cossack characternik, protecting a bird – a symbol of will, visually reminiscent of a trident.

Commemorative coins “Neither a ball nor a saber!” were put into circulation on December 4, 2024. They continue the series “Armed Forces of Ukraine”.

The nickel silver coin has a denomination of 5 hryvnia, the silver coin – 10 hryvnia. The circulation is up to 125 thousand and 10 thousand pieces, respectively.

They will be available for purchase in the NBU online numismatic products store from December 19, 2024, as well as from distributing banks.

Recall that earlier it was reported what you can spend “Zelensky's thousand on: a list of goods and services.
