Ukraine is preparing “surprises” for Russia: expert suggests that it will become the number one target for the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Ukraine may be preparing new “surprises” to strike the illegally built Kerch Bridge connecting the temporarily occupied Crimea with Russia's Krasnodar Krai.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Unian.

This opinion was expressed by military expert Mikhail Zhirokhov. Commenting on the issue of sea drones with a machine gun module, which were allegedly used during the recent attack on Russian aircraft and boats in the Kerch Bay, Zhirokhov noted that this is a promising direction.

The expert noted that some Western analysts were quick to question the effectiveness of sea drones, but he is confident that such technologies can play a key role in the fight for de-occupation.

Zhirokhov believes that Ukraine continues to work on improving its military technologies in order to strike at the enemy's strategic targets, including the Kerch Bridge, which remains an important target.

«What the Turks had at the experimental level, at the level of prototypes, as we see, the installation of machine guns or anti-aircraft missiles – it already works for us. And I think that there are still certain surprises that are most likely being held back for a strike at the main target in occupied Crimea – this is actually the Kerch Bridge, which, I think, will soon become the number one target for both missilemen and sea drones,' said Zhirokhov.

At the same time, the Russian Federation has a critically vulnerable spot: what will make Putin agree to negotiations with Ukraine?
