Ukraine is taking an important step forward in the development of defense technologies, putting into operation the TOKKO unmanned aircraft system.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine officially announced the completion of testing and the beginning of the use of kamikaze drones capable of operating in conditions of active counteraction to enemy electronic systems.
This achievement was made possible thanks to the intensified work of Ukrainian developers, who focused on creating an innovative product.
The TOKKO complex includes a ground control station, an operator console, special pilot glasses, a mast and dozens of drones. These drones have two modifications, each of which is equipped with unique characteristics.
For example, various types of combat payload and a protective coating that ensures resistance to adverse conditions. Deputy Defense Minister Dmitry Klymenkov noted: “The first tests in real combat conditions have shown the high efficiency of the complex. These drones successfully destroy enemy equipment, which makes them an important element of modern warfare.”
TOKKO is not only a technological breakthrough, but also a symbol of Ukraine's growing independence in defense matters. This underlines the importance of investing in domestic developments and proves that the country is capable of creating high-tech solutions that change the rules of the game on the battlefield.
Meanwhile, the transfer of Russian military equipment from Crimea to another direction has been recorded.
