Interrogation of the leader of the parliamentary faction “Platform for Life and Peace” of Yuriy Boyko in the SBU became the basis for a new political crisis in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to the telegram channel “Politics of the Country”.

After Boyko found himself in the spotlight of the investigative bodies, deputies from European Solidarity and Voice staged a protest, demanding that all members of the Platform faction be stripped of their mandates.

Protesters with posters accusing the party of ties to pro-Russian forces and political activity that threatens Ukraine's national security.

During the protests, a poster was also put forward calling for drones to be provided to the Ukrainian army. This part of the action became an important element of the political discussion, but it remained unclear whether this call was addressed directly to Boyko or to President Zelensky.

The situation worsened at the Conciliation Council, where a bill was discussed that envisages the possibility of depriving deputies of their mandates for cooperation with dangerous to the state forces. However, the vote on this issue did not take place, which indicates the continuation of political disagreements in the Rada.

At the same time, it became known why Putin again spoke about the illegitimacy of Zelensky.
