The singer has recently been frequently complaining about his health in the context of vision problems, and has also begun giving instructions regarding his own funeral.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to People.

The 77-year-old musician revealed a touching message that he would like to write on his tombstone. And it has nothing to do with music or his popularity. The composer wants to be remembered first and foremost as a loving father.

“All I want is for it to say on my tombstone, 'He was a great dad.' That's my legacy,” Elton John said.

According to the artist, he doesn't need a lot of statuses and titles, but rather that his role as a father is successful. It's worth noting that Elton John and his husband David Furnish, with whom they have been together for over 30 years, are raising two sons: 13-year-old Zachary and 11-year-old Elijah.

“My music speaks for itself. My legacy is that I was a great husband and an even better father.” The music, the career, are fantastic. It's been amazing, groundbreaking. But the most important thing for me in life is “it's making sure my kids are happy, they have a great life, and that's all that matters,” the celebrity shared.

Earlier it was reported that the only daughter of the famous singer died in a traffic accident near Lviv (photo).
