The Ukrainian authorities are actively are discussing the introduction of an online voting system in elections, which should become possible after the end of the war.

The above information was confirmed by the head of the Servant of the People party, Elena Shulyak, noting that Ukraine is considering various election models that will ensure the participation of all citizens, regardless of their location.

In particular, the introduction of electronic voting for citizens is being discussed, located abroad or in occupied territories. This will be an important step towards ensuring the full participation in elections of those who were forced to leave their country because of the war.

In addition to electronic voting, such forms as voting by mail and the possibility of voting by proxy, which opens up new opportunities for citizens who find themselves in difficult circumstances.

However, the decision to introduce online voting raises concerns among experts, as such a system may be susceptible to cyberattacks and manipulation . It is important that sufficient protection of data and voting mechanisms be ensured to avoid fraud and maintain confidence in the election process.
