Twitter LinkedIn

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that Donald Trump understands that Ukraine is not seeking to give in and freeze the conflict.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Le Parisien.

«Trump is aware of my desire not to rush to the detriment of Ukraine. The country has long been fighting for its sovereignty. No matter how many presidents or “No prime ministers have tried to declare an end to the war, we are not going to just give up and give up our independence,” the president stressed. “The danger was to say: We will freeze the war and come to an agreement with the Russians.” /p>

At the same time, Zelensky added that the new US president wants to resolve the issue of war at a very fast pace. But for now he doesn't have access to all the necessary information.

&# 171;At the moment he is not yet in the White House and does not have access to all the information: intelligence, the Ministry of Defense, a number of diplomatic channels, etc. When he is there, we will be able to speak the same language, with the same level of information&#187 ;, – explained the President of Ukraine.

In turn, Yermak predicted when real negotiations with the Russian Federation will begin: a new forecast has been given.
