In Taganrog, Rostov region, an unusual initiative has emerged, designed to tell Russians about the real cost of the war in Ukraine.

This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to 24tv.

In particular, QR codes, placed on city buses and advertising stands, lead to a website with information about the losses of the Russian army and the financial costs of the war unleashed by the Putin regime.

A particularly active campaign started in September 2024. On bus route No. 30, running in the central districts of the city, announcements with QR codes are posted. Anyone who scans them is taken to a website that presents data on Russia's human and material losses in the war. There you can also leave your contact information to join the resistance movement or receive additional information.

The same announcements have been seen in the elevators of residential buildings in Taganrog. The city, with a population of over 250,000, has become a platform for a new form of information dissemination that seeks to awaken residents and give them the opportunity to think about the consequences of what is happening.

At the same time, Putin named new reasons for the attack on Ukraine: ISW analyzed the dictator's words.
