How Many Americans Want a Quick End to the War in Ukraine: Poll Shows Results

New survey conducted Gallup has found significant changes in how Americans perceive the war in Ukraine.

According to Gallup, 50% of respondents said that it is necessary to achieve a speedy end to the conflict, even at the cost of Ukraine losing part of its territory. For comparison, , in 2022 this figure was 31%. At the same time, the share of those who support continuing to help Ukraine to return all lost territories has decreased from 66% to 48%.

Another important indicator is the attitude of Americans to the volume of aid to Ukraine. 37% of respondents believe that the United States provides “too much” aid. Those who believe that aid levels are sufficient or insufficient accounted for 31% and 30%, respectively.

Interestingly, the strongest support for ending the war as soon as possible comes from Republicans. This trend reflects a general decline in interest in international conflicts against the backdrop of domestic ones. problems such as inflation and migration policy.

At the same time, 68% of the adult population of the United States believe that neither Russia nor Ukraine is currently winning the war.
