Russian propaganda media have spread information that a number of countries have allegedly expressed a desire to organize a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President-elect Donald Trump.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Unian.
In particular, Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov said that Moscow has already received several such proposals. However, he refused to specify which countries had shown interest, explaining this by his reluctance to “disclose the entire list” and potentially influence the development of events .
Journalists asked whether similar proposals had come from the leaders of Hungary and Slovakia. Ushakov did not confirm this.
«I would say, oddly enough, but we have already received several proposals on this matter from different countries. I will not say which countries these are, so as not to predetermine the possible or impossible development of events. But such proposals have been made and are being made,' said Ushakov's assistant.
He added, that proposals continue to come in, but there are no details yet about the possible dates and place of the meeting.
At the same time, the final phase of the war is beginning in Ukraine: the West has warned that this is already known.
