Political expert Taras Zagorodniy spoke about the emerging plan of the elected US President Donald Trump to end the war in Ukraine.

According to expert, Trump is in favor of fixing the demarcation line and preserving the Ukrainian armed forces, which the Kremlin is categorically against. At the same time, Putin is setting impossible conditions: Ukraine's refusal to join NATO and recognition of the annexation of a number of regions.
These demands represent violation of international law and do not correspond to the interests of Ukraine and its allies.
Zagorodniy emphasizes that such a position will not find support either in the United States or among its allies. Trump makes it clear that he is ready to discuss real steps, not fantasies about restoration of the “sphere of influence” Russia in Europe.
In addition, the emerging plan may include additional measures to support Ukraine, aimed at strengthening the country's defense capability and economic potential.
At the same time, the Russian Federation is already actively preparing for the meeting Putin with Trump.
