Russia declares its readiness to negotiations with the administration of US President-elect Donald Trump on the issues of “settlement” of the war in Ukraine.

 This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to Unian.

In particular, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that the Kremlin is not satisfied with a simple truce: “Final legal agreements are required.”

He expressed hope that the Trump administration will study the “root causes” conflict», and stressed that Russia does not set preconditions for negotiations, but only demands the implementation of previously reached agreements.

The minister also stated that France allegedly repeatedly offered Russia to establish a dialogue on Ukraine through &#171 ;closed channels» and without Kyiv's participation.

In addition, Lavrov commented on Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities, cynically stating that Moscow selects targets based on the “threats to Russia”. He added that the list of such goals may also include decision-making centers in Kyiv.
