Pensioners were released from payment of land tax subject to certain conditions.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the State Tax Service.
Now persons receiving an old-age pension may not pay for a land plot, if it complies with the standards established by law.
Currently, the limits for a land plot are as follows:
- plot up to 2 hectares can be used for personal farming;
- up to 0.10 hectares – for individual summer cottage construction;
- up to 0.12 hectares – for gardening;
- up to 0.01 hectares – for the construction of individual garages;
- up to 0.10 hectares – for the construction and maintenance of a residential building, utility buildings and structures in cities;
- up to 0.15 hectares – for the construction and maintenance of a residential building, outbuildings and structures in urban-type settlements;
- up to 0.25 hectares – for the construction and maintenance of a residential building, outbuildings and structures in villages.
In addition, pensioners have the right to take advantage of a number of other benefits. For example, they can use some types of public transport, such as trolleybuses, for free. Free use of suburban rail transport, including electric trains, is also provided.
Recall that earlier it was reported that the payment of the “Zelensky thousand” was delayed: why the funds are not being received on the card.
