Putin May Soon End the War in Ukraine: What Signals the Kremlin Is Already Sending

According to German BILD, the German government admits the possibility of a quick end to the war in Ukraine on the part of the Russian Federation.

This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to Bild.

This information is based on &#171 ;internal analysis,' which notes that the Kremlin is sending signals both domestically and to the international community about a possible end to the conflict as early as this year.

This scenario is likely due to the growth of interest rates, food prices, the fall of the ruble and the crisis in other sectors due to the overload of the military-industrial complex, and this could lead to negative consequences.

«Interest rates and food prices are rising sharply. In the last five months alone, the ruble has lost more than 20% against the euro. The three-shift work of the military-industrial complex can no longer hide the crisis in other industries. If in 2024 economic growth was slightly less than 4%, then in 2025 the expected growth is no more than 1%,— the report says.

The second reason for the conclusion is the preparation of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation for the post-war election campaign for the 2026 parliamentary elections. It is reported that the Russian Presidential Administration is working on creating an “image of victory” that should be perceived as a success by Russian society.

Another factor is the possible desire of the newly elected US President Donald Trump to speed up the process of peace talks between Moscow and Kiev after his inauguration, scheduled for January 20.

However, according to a statement by the German Foreign Ministry, the government's official position assumes the continuation of the war. At the same time, BILD political observer Filipp Pyatov noted that the Kremlin's actions can be interpreted ambiguously and do not necessarily indicate a readiness to end the war.

Recall that earlier it was reported that peacekeepers would be deployed to Ukraine: the German parliament came up with an unexpected initiative.
