Reform The Armed Forces of Ukraine is one of the key points of the state modernization program.

This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to the telegram channel “Resident”.

“Sources in the OP warn that the process is being held up by internal contradictions. The parquet generals and the General Staff leadership, fearing the loss of control over the commanders, are holding back the implementation of changes” , – it was said at the beginning.

Then it was added that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky promised President Volodymyr Zelensky to launch reforms back in early 2024, but in practice progress has been minimal. In the current war, the renewal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is critically important, and the Office of the President is forced to activate the process through the Ministry of Defense.

Problems in the management of military structures highlight the need for changes aimed at increasing the effectiveness of command and decision-making. The success of the reform will depend on from the political will of the country's leadership and the readiness of the military leadership to adapt to new conditions.

Moreover, the insider added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces operation in the Kursk region failed.
