Register damages inflicted by Russia during the war against Ukraine, has begun accepting applications for another category.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the Presidential Office.
The Presidential Office Ukraine reported that it was a death of a close family member. They noted that the corresponding application can be submitted through the Diia web portal by close relatives of the deceased person or other family members who have legal grounds and can confirm this.
The category applies not only to those who died on the territory of Ukraine since February 24, 2022, but also to those who died outside the country, if this occurred as a result of Russian aggression.
The first category under which they began to accept applications in April last year, was damage to or destruction of housing. Work is currently underway to open the rest.
In general, the registry will accept applications for more than 40 categories of losses. In particular, loss of life, torture, sexual violence, physical injury, forced displacement and resettlement, loss of property and income, damage to critical infrastructure and other government facilities, as well as damage to historical and cultural heritage and the environment.
