When Usyk might end his career: the media surprised with a forecast

ESPN edition made a bold prediction regarding the future of Ukrainian heavyweight champion Alexander Usyk.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Еspn.

Journalists believe that 2025 could be the end of his professional career. According to the publication, after Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua twice, as well as two significant victories over Tyson Fury, he no longer has anything to prove in the heavyweight division. Last year, the champion also defeated Daniel Dubois, which only strengthened his status. /p>

While a rematch with Dubois is being discussed, journalists are skeptical of Usyk's motivation to fight again against an opponent he has already soundly defeated. Another potential matchup could be a fight with Joseph Parker, should he win against Dubois. This fight would give Usyk a chance to regain the title of absolute champion.

However, age and career achievements speak in favor of ending the journey. In 2025, Oleksandr will turn 38 years old. Given his brilliant career and the nine-figure sums he has earned, Usyk may decide that it was time to leave the ring and retire.

Recall that earlier it was reported that Usyk “mowed down” the entire heavyweight division: Joshua's promoter found him a worthy opponent.
