Is It Safe to Hide in the Bathroom During an Air Raid: A Rescuer's Answer

Rescuer State Emergency Service Artur Morkotenko warned that the bathroom is not a safe place during an air raid alarm and explained why.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Artur Morkotenko.

“The bathroom is not a safe place during an air raid because “This is a small room. Each bathroom is tiled. There is a mirror. And basically, if there is a collapse there, there will be no oxygen access at all. You can simply end up trapped in this bathroom,” the rescuer noted.

Artur Morkotenko explained that when a hit occurs, a fire occurs. And so, even if a person remains unharmed and uninjured, he can simply suffocate.

< p>“Nothing might happen in the bathroom, but the doors will be blocked when, for example, some structure collapses in the next room, and the person simply won’t be able to get out,” the rescuer summed up.

Recall that earlier it was reported about how war changes people's appearance: a photographer showed heartbreaking shots (photo).
