Ukrzaliznytsia has successfully restored online ticket sales after a large-scale cyberattack that disrupted key operating systems. Specialists worked non-stop for 89 hours to restore the functionality of the company's website and application.

URA-Inform reports this, citing the Ukrzaliznytsia Telegram channel .

At the first stage, basic functionality is available, including the sale and return of tickets to all destinations within 20 days. The company's representatives emphasized that the attack did not result in a leak of confidential information, which is an important aspect in the context of a security threat.

“Railway workers, specialists from the SBU cyber department, CERT-UA at the State Special Communications Service and other partners are working to restore all other services, primarily client services,” the company’s press service reported.

Ukrzaliznytsia stations and ticket offices continue to operate in an enhanced mode throughout Ukraine, which ensures uninterrupted passenger service. Despite the cyberattack, trains continue to run on schedule.

Let us recall that the system failure occurred on March 23, when Ukrzaliznytsia's online services became unavailable, which caused problems with purchasing tickets and ordering services. The incident was caused by a cyber attack, the consequences of which were quickly eliminated.

We will also remind you of what is known about the “explosive” FPV glasses of the Russians and the special operation of the Ukrainian GUR.
