Exmer of Svyatogorsk will be tried on charges of high treason and collaboration

In September 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine drove the occupiers out of the city, and the Gauleiter disappeared with the occupiers. He is currently wanted.

Prosecutors of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office sent an indictment against the former Svyatogor to the court. /p>

The pre-trial investigation established that after the occupation of Svyatogorsk by Russian troops in the summer of 2022, the mayor accepted the offer of the leader of the “DPR” to head the fake city administration.

The so-called mayor followed the instructions of the occupiers. Demonstrating his anti-Ukrainian position, he distributed appeals to the media expressing personal support and gratitude to Russian military personnel.

Meanwhile, in Ukraine, blogger-propagandist Podolyak was sentenced to 12 years in prison. The court found him guilty of collaboration and justifying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. The convict was born and lived for a long time in Sumy, and in 2014 he left for Russia.
