On the night of January 2, the Russian army repeated a massive attack using various types of air attacks, as it had happened a few days ago – December 29, 2023. The main direction of attack was Kyiv.
The enemy attacked civilian and critical infrastructure, industrial and military facilities. Launched 35 “shaheds” and about 99 missiles, said Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny.
All 35 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs were destroyed. After this, in the morning the Russian Federation used strategic aviation – Tu-95MS bombers. 16 aircraft reached the launch line at about 6.00 and launched at least 70 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 air-launched cruise missiles.
” From 07.30, launches of ten Kh-47M2 “Dagger” aeroballistic missiles were recorded from fighters MiG-31K,” Zaluzhny said.
The enemy also attacked from the sea with three Caliber cruise missiles, and from the north – with 12 missiles flying along a ballistic trajectory of the Iskander-M/S-300 type/S-400.
From tactical aircraft Su-35 aircraft used four Kh-31P anti-radar missiles.
