The Ukrainian company is suspected of providing the Russian army with tactical medicine

During 2022-2023, the company sent several batches of medical supplies of its own production to Russia for a total amount of more than 40 million hryvnia.

The Security Service of Ukraine exposed one of the enterprises in the Kyiv region, which carried out wholesale supplies of tactical medicine to the Russian Federation. The owner of one of the largest companies in Ukraine, which produces rubber and plastic products, including for military equipment, is suspected of organizing cooperation with the enemy. According to Lb.ua sources, we are talking about the Kiev enterprise “Kievguma”.

During 2022-2023, businessmen transported several batches of tactical tourniquets and bandages of their own production to Russia for a total amount of more than 40 million hryvnia.

According to the investigation, the illegal route passed through one of the European countries, where the defendants created a controlled company that ordered goods allegedly for sale in the EU. Moreover, in fact, after receiving the products, the foreign structure sent the products to Russia.

The department noted that “on the territory of the aggressor country, tactical medical equipment ended up in sanctioned Russian companies specializing in the supply of ammunition for Russian troops Subsequently, the products went into the individual first aid kits of the Russian fighters who are fighting against the Ukrainian Defense Forces.”

The infidels also sent the received medical supplies to Russian military hospitals in the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine.

As the investigation established, in order to disguise criminal activities, the owner of the Ukrainian company was engaged in “promoting” his own image as a volunteer , donating medical supplies to Ukrainian fighters.

During searches at the residence addresses of the defendants, as well as in their offices and production and warehouse premises of the enterprise, mobile phones, computers and documentation with evidence of the transaction were found.

Based on the collected materials, Security Service investigators informed the owner of the company of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (aiding the state) aggressor, committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons).

Currently, the issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is being decided.

An investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime. up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

In turn, the company claims pressure from law enforcement agencies.
